DuGill Manufacturing was set to fill a gap in the waterproofing market.
The two partners, Jacques Du Plessis and Caireen Gillingham have a wealth of experience in dealing with roofs and leaks. Jacques been in the waterproofing and gutter business for 16 years and Caireen has been in corporate/retail property & facilities management for 20 years.
Jacques started importing EcoProof from the UK – a heavy duty bitumen based rubberised waterproofing product in 2011 however he soon established that the South African market wanted a coloured product as the black was seen to be too “hot” for our African Climate. This lead to him working with a chemist and after 18 months of trial and error EcoCoat was born, a 2-in-1 coloured rubber waterproofing that is applied like a paint but cures into a rubber.
Both partners actively work in and on the business and are committed to providing a durable and fade resistant product that does what it promises!
The team are all experts in their roles – we take waterproofing and our clients seriously, not ourselves!
